My Vision
I am passionate about building a more affordable, sustainable community in Gibsons. My commitment lies in supporting affordable housing solutions, protecting our environment and local wildlife, supporting working people and bolstering local business support. I believe it is essential to ensure our community remains a place where people of all ages can afford to live and thrive.
I am particularly motivated to address the housing crisis by advocating for practical housing solutions, strengthening local services and infrastructure, and ensuring that young people have a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape their future.
My Priorities
A Strong Local Economy: as a Labour Council endorsed candidate, I will stand up for working people and local businesses.
Housing People Can Afford: whether you are a retired senior or starting a family, we need options that meet our whole community's needs.
Getting the Basics Right: improving local infrastructure and servces should be one of council's major priorities.
Protecting Out Environment: from our harbour and forests to the parks our children play in, the water we drink and the air we breathe.
A Fresh Perspective: I'll represent everyone in Gibsons and make sure council is looking towards the future - so it's planning for the next 40 years, not just the next 4 years.
