About Me

Jäger Rosenberg is a lifelong Gibsons resident running for Gibsons Town Council with a focus on affordability, responsible growth, climate resilience, and a stronger voice for residents.

Jäger became involved in politics because he believes decisions made at the local level have a direct impact on people’s ability to live, work, and build a future in their community. His political experience includes grassroots organizing, local and international campaigns, democratic reform, and youth engagement. At 17, he ran in a provincial nomination contest, and in 2025 he became the youngest candidate in that federal election.

He has demonstrated his commitment to community engagement by contributing to the Gibsons Citizens’ Assembly on Housing, participating in an important community conversation about housing and the future of Gibsons.

Having worked full-time since the age of 14, Jäger brings personal experience of the challenges surrounding affordability and economic opportunity. As a person who grew up in Gibsons and continues to live here, he is particularly focused on making sure younger residents have a realistic opportunity to stay in the community they call home.

As a candidate for Council, Jäger is focused on practical municipal issues: housing affordability, responsible development, climate resilience, infrastructure, transportation, community services, and transparent local government.

His goal is to bring a fresh perspective to Council while drawing on years of experience in community organizing and civic engagement and to help ensure Gibsons remains a community where people of all ages can build a future.
